PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (7News) — Bases, where Afghan refugees were staying in Virginia, are shutting down as refugees move into resettlement.
Maggie Zargarpur, a volunteer with The Muslim Association of Virginia, said resettlement agencies are working hard to resettle the highest volume of refugees since 1975 with the Vietnamese refugees.

This means agencies are busy and the process of getting families what they need in order to get settled can be lengthy.
That's why The Muslim Association of Virginia is continuing to help fill the gaps in Prince William County by working alongside the resettlement agencies, providing meals, basic living necessities, new mattresses and donated furniture.
